Exit procedure
How to take a complete copy of your organisation's data out of Cevoriq and leave, at no charge. It applies to every customer, in every region.
1. Request your export
An owner or administrator of your organisation opens Settings, then Data export, and chooses Request full export. Managers and viewers cannot do this, because the export contains member details and cost information they cannot see in the application.
A small organisation is ready within minutes. A very large one is prepared in daily steps and can take several days; the page shows the status. If an export has not finished after 14 days it is stopped and you can request it again, or ask support.
2. Download it and check it
The export is available to download for 7 days after it is prepared, and is then deleted. Only an owner or administrator of your organisation can download it, and only your own organisation's exports are ever visible to you.
Each zip file shows a sha256 checksum on the page. Every file inside also has a sha256 in manifest.json, so you can confirm that what you unpacked is what was prepared. A very large organisation receives several zip files; unpack them into one folder.
3. What the export contains
data/<Model>.ndjson holds one JSON object per row and is the authoritative copy. data/<Model>.csv holds the same rows as flat columns for spreadsheets. Dates in these data files are written as ISO 8601 in UTC, a format meant for loading into another system.
files/<Model>/<row id>/<file name> holds every attachment and certificate Cevoriq stores for you: contract documents, purchase order documents, proof of service, partner and service definition documents, shipping labels and archived records. manifest.json lists every table with its row count, every file with its checksum, and any attachment that could not be read. schema/columns.json lists every table and column so the references between tables can be followed.
4. What is not included, and why
Credentials are left out: webhook secrets, API keys and tokens (stored only as hashes or encrypted), connection credentials and AI provider keys. They cannot be used outside Cevoriq and exporting them would only create a risk. manifest.json lists every column that was left out.
Cevoriq's own records about your account (agreements with Cevoriq, publication and billing records kept by Cevoriq), shared reference data such as the public holiday calendars, sign-in sessions and device notification registrations, and the private conversations each member has with the assistant are not part of your organisation's data and are not included.
5. Re-issue your credentials
At your new provider, create new API keys and webhook secrets, reconnect your integrations and enter your AI provider keys again. Update your own systems that call Cevoriq or receive its webhooks so they stop using the old ones.
6. Close your account
When you have verified the export, the owner of the organisation requests closure from Settings. Request the export first: once closure is requested the organisation is locked. Closure starts a grace period of 90 days in which nothing is deleted, so a mistake can still be undone by contacting support. When the grace period ends, Cevoriq deletes the organisation's data after a person confirms the deletion.
7. Backups
Cevoriq keeps encrypted nightly backups for at most 30 days. Your data is removed from live systems when the account is deleted, and it ages out of backups on that schedule: it is gone from every backup within 30 days after deletion. Backups are used only to restore the service and are never read for any other purpose.
8. Cost and timing
There is no charge for the export, no charge for switching away and no charge for moving your data out.
Cevoriq completes its part of a switch, from a complete request, within 30 days. Write to support@cevoriq.com if you need help, a longer download window, or a person to walk through the bundle with you.
